Covid-19 Patient Message

Dear patients,

I hope this message finds you well and healthy.  COVID-19 is in the news everywhere, and we are closely monitoring the situation.  I am reaching out to assure you that you are safe at Clinton Dental Center and to share some quick updates on how our office is preparing for the future.

As you may know, we’ve been busy helping our emergency patients, working with our local restaurants and hospitals to provide meals to our first responders as well as helping our patients with meal deliveries.  We can’t wait to be more involved with our community and to see familiar faces again.

Time has come to look ahead and to prepare for reopening our office.  We will continue to follow the evolving advice from the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in regards to public gatherings.  This is not the first contagious illness that has circulated our country nor will it be the last.  In my practice lifetime of over 22 years, I have dealt first hand with threats from HIV/AIDS, Swine Flu, H1N1, MERS, SARS to name the most well known.  In addition, every year in “flu season” we see patients who have had the flu or have recently recovered.  Furthermore, hepatitis in its many forms, HPV, herpes, etc., etc. all are part of our everyday existence as your dentist and dental care team.  Here are a few additional measures that we will be implementing for your safety and the safety of our staff.

We have invested in brand new air filtration system: Novaerus Technology that is proven to rapidly destroy airborne viruses including coronavirus with the use of patented plasma technology.  Several air filtration units will be installed throughout the office including the waiting room and each treatment room.

We are also upgrading our Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to the standards that are recommended during the pandemic.  In addition to N95 masks, our staff will be wearing face shields and protective gowns when you see them next.

Closer to our reopening I will be sending you another email sharing our detailed protocol for each dental appointment and office visit.  Feel free to call the office if you have any questions or send an email with your thoughts.  All of you have supported me and I am extremely thankful for each of you.  I am taking this seriously as I have in the past when the threats were the same or greater, but the attention was much less.  I am here for you anytime you need me.

In good health,

Dr. Roman Sadikoff, DDS
